What Quality Control does inside ERPS X
Quality Control is the inspection application of the Manufacturing department in ERPS X ERPS. It has two records. A quality check is created for a product and a manufacturing order (or a picking), with a check ID, a team, a type — Instruction, Measure, Take a Picture — a control point and whether it is controlled per Product or per Operation, written instructions, and an optional partial transfer test. Each check is then marked Pass or Fail.
A quality alert is raised when something is wrong. It carries an alert ID, title, product, picking, priority, team, responsible person, tags, an optional vendor, the date assigned, a description, the root cause, and the corrective and preventive actions agreed. Alerts move through Draft → In Process → Done.
Both records are reported in the Manufacturing Reports menu — Quality Check Analysis and Quality Alerts Analysis — and counted on the Manufacturing dashboard. Because checks reference the manufacturing order and product, a failed check points straight back to the order and BoM behind it.
