The org structure every HR and Manufacturing record hangs on
Departments with a named manager, defined once per company and reused by Employees, Contracts, Payroll, Expenses, Time Off, Equipments, and Maintenance — so every record and report already knows where it belongs.
Built for
- HR managers — Define the structure once and keep it current as teams change.
- Owners & directors — See headcount, wages, and expenses per department in the HR reports.
- Department managers — Be the named manager on your department and on the records that reference it.
- Plant & maintenance leads — Assign equipment and maintenance requests to the department that uses them.
What Departments does inside ERPS X
Departments is the smallest application in the Human Resources department of ERPS X ERPS and one of the most used. Each department is a name and a department manager, created for a company and stored in that company's database.
Everything else in HR points at it. An employee belongs to a department; a contract, payslip, expense claim, and time off record carry the employee's department; time off can be issued for a whole department at once. In Manufacturing, equipment can be marked as used by a department, and maintenance requests are raised for a department.
Because the department is a shared reference, HR reports group by it without extra setup: Contracts Analysis shows total, new, and departed employees and wages per department; Payroll Analysis shows gross, net, and paid totals per department; the Expenses Report shows cost per department.
